ASSOCIATE
ASSOCIATE
REPORTS TO: Partner and/or Managing Partner
LOCATION: Remote in the continental US
POSITION SUMMARY
The Diversity Works Associate has a passion for workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion, and wants to help organizations improve their DEI performance. They work closely with the partners and/or managing partners to staff client engagements, prepare client reports, present evaluation findings, and respond to client requests. The Associate also assists the team in tracking developments related to DEI, preparing and distributing digital and social media content, and conducting research as needed.

Essential responsibities
- Leads new client onboarding process, including collecting essential information from clients, scheduling a recurring weekly meeting, creating a client SharePoint portal, and customizing a welcome presentation deck.
- Tracks client engagement progress and prepares weekly report summarizing accomplishments and next steps, and identifying any potential delays in the engagement.
- Runs weekly client meetings with support of partners and/or managing partners.
- Assists with writing materials needed by clients throughout the engagement, including employee emails, summaries of findings for leaders and employees, and talking points for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assists with writing, proofing, and formatting of written and visual presentations and reports.
- Drafts case studies at the end of client engagements.
- Drafts blog posts, social media content, webinars, and other materials as needed to promote the · · · Diversity Works brand and its proprietary solutions.
- Supports new business development by performing research as directed.
- Provides project management support for partners and/or managing partners as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Professional experience, education, and other qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field
- Research and writing experience preferred
- Social media and WordPress CMS experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and highly attentive to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and/or experience with Excel-based data analysis

- Reliable computer and high-speed internet connection may be provided by Diversity Works if needed
Compensation and benefis
- This is a contract position with the potential to convert to full-time if desired by Diversity Works and the Associate. The hourly rate is $25-150 per hour, commensurate with experience.
