Our process starts with discovery. We talk to you, examine who you are, what you do, and how you do it to give you a complete picture of your DEI performance. A Diversity Works engagement explores:

Are you thinking about DEI as a competitive advantage? Our signature Diversity Dimensions Scorecard evaluates 15 dimensions of DEI related to your strategy, workplace, and organizational performance. We go well beyond simple HR metrics so you can tell a more comprehensive and compelling story about your DEI performance. You get a scorecard that allows you to set priorities and measure progress. We believe you need a plan not a group of projects.

What do your employees think? We ask employees about diversity, equity, and inclusion using an advanced enterprise survey platform which allows for complex question design and delivery via email and text. We supplement the quantitative data with qualitative insights gleaned from a series of stakeholder interviews. The assessment can be readministered every year to measure progress.

Are you ahead of your peers? We create two benchmarks to compare your relative DEI performance. The first, an industry databook, pulls data from public data sets to show racial, ethnic, and gender diversity at all levels for your sector. The second, a competitive analysis, pulls publicly available information about a set of peer organizations that you define. Together they show how your performance compares to your closest competitors and your industry at large.

What are the quick wins and long plays? The evaluation process informs a set of tailored recommendations that are immediately actionable and measurable. This final report includes a summary of the evaluation findings, a custom DEI value proposition, and a comprehensive list of interventions that are prioritized by impact and effort. In addition to our proprietary evaluation tools, Diversity Works helps organizations strengthen their DEI capabilities through online tools and peer learning networks. Our free DEI Self Assessment gives you an immediate, high-level view of your DEI performance.

Individuals may join our DEI Leader Network to take advantage of free monthly interactive webinars or we can work with you to create a custom Diversity Works Exchange with specific learning objectives and tailored curriculum.

DIVERSITY WORKS EXCHANGE

The Diversity Works Exchange (DWX) is a learning collaborative that helps organizations set goals and improve performance around workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Our approach provides comparably situated, like-minded employers with a safe space to learn from DEI experts and interact with peers who are facing or are successfully addressing similar challenges.

The DWX is designed to help organizations improve across a wide range of DEI competencies, but each cohort selects its own priorities. Diversity Works creates a custom curriculum for each cohort and facilitates the learning process through a combination of online or in-person convenings, interactive webinars, and one-on-one coaching. We create a private, unlisted LinkedIn group for each cohort that allows participants to engage their peers and DEI experts at any time during their DWX term and beyond.

DEI LEADER NETWORK

The DEI Leader Network is a free resource for DEI professionals. We created the network because DEI leaders often feel isolated in their role and benefit from networking with their peers. To join the DEI Leader Network, please get in touch.
