Diversity Works’ signature tool, the Diversity Dimensions Scorecard, starts with an examination into Vision and Values. Among the questions we ask is whether the organization has articulated a set of values that guides its work and whether those values reflect a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. In addition, our evaluation examines how an organization lives its stated values both in terms of how it treats its employees and how it engages with the outside world.
Our values reflect who we are – a women-owned and led consulting group that believes a smart DEI strategy drives better performance and organizational success. Here’s how we live our values every day.
- Community – We are building a community of DEI practitioners who can learn from and lean on each other.
- Curiosity – We dig into data, read new research, and listen to a wide range of voices on topics that touch on DEI.
- Diversity – We build our teams with intention to manage our own blind spots and to challenge our assumptions.
- Justice – We believe we are all capable of seeing and respecting each other’s humanity, which is a goal of our work.
- Trust – We work hard to build trust with our clients and partners and try to be as transparent as possible.
We review our values on an ongoing basis, at least once a year but as often as needed. These aren’t set in stone but rather a dynamic reflection of our work and our mission. We welcome the opportunity to demonstrate these values in new and existing partnerships.
